Give your car a holiday!

As a guest of the Tennengau you can take the Postbus and the S-Bahn free of charge. The Tennengauticket is valid with a valid Tennengau guest card directly at the Postbus driver. The ticket is valid on all lines of the ÖBB Postbus in the Tennengau, to the city of Salzburg, to the Gosausee and to Eben as well as on the S-Bahn in the section Salzburg Taxham Europark - Golling Abtenau.

Wanderbus
The hiking bus runs every Friday in the period from mid-June to late September on the route Gosausee - Russbach - Abtenau - Annaberg. We give you the opportunity to return to your starting point after your local or valley crossing hike.

On the Postalm
The Postalm is the largest alpine area in Austria and the second largest mountain plateau in Europe. Here there is only relaxation but also countless sports facilities through the idyllic countryside on the Postalm. And always there is a cozy alpine hut to strengthen and contemplation. The post bus runs from May to October every Tuesday and Thursday. On this road there are € 1,50 (children € 0.75) for the toll.

To the Gosau lake
Surely the Gosau Lake is one of the most beautiful natural scenery of the Alps. It offers plenty of space for dreams and adventures - all year round and every day it presents itself to visitors in front of the imposing Dachstein Massif. From Russbach, you can reach the Gosau Lake by bus No. 470 to Gosau. Here you have to change. By bus No. 542 there are only a few minutes to the lake.
