Travel to the top of the Horn with the cable car. From there follow a ski route to the "Edtalm". This route is ideal fol walkers - enjoy the magnificant Alpen Panorama of the Dachstein, the Gosaukamm and the Tennengebirge.

Horse drawn sleigh rides.
The horse drawn sleighs with snorting horses and warmly wrapped passengers create a very special atmosphere. Gliding along through the beautiful countryside is an adventure for everyone.
 | | Tobogganing to the Rinnbergalm
During normal snow conditions the toboggan track to the Rinnbergalm is prepeared. At the mountain pasture there are old huts, where you can get excellent cheese and hearty snacks. Opening times are the holidays and weekend.

Ski Tours - the true enjoyment
From Russbach you can reach some ot the most beautiful peaks of the Dachstein and the Osterhorn Group.

Ski Tour on the Gamsfeld
The "Gamsfeld" is the characteristic mountain of Russbach. Set out in the direction of the Rinnbergalm. Then tourn right to the Angerkaralm, continuing through a beautiful Kar. Then stay right and up the "steep slope" o the summit. Retourn along the uphill route. Only advisable in stable snow conditions!

 | | Skitour on the Braunedl
Difficult - due to the steepness near the summit, beautiful view to the surrounding mountains.Follow the forest path to the Rinnbergalm. Then to the Kar in the "Rinnbergsill“. Tourn left to the „Sonntagsgrube“ and then steeply uphill to the summit. Retourn along the uphill route. Only advisable in stable snow conditions!

Cross Country Skiing in Russbach
The extensive Cross Country areas Gosau (50 km tracks) and Abtenau (200 km tracks)are very close to Rußbach. The Ski- and hiking bus will take you free of charge to the neighbouring villages of Rußbach.
